Ugly Sweater 5K and Santa Stroll 1M

RACE DETAILS
Date: December 3, 2022
Location: Elkhart, IN (Registration at Elkhart Health & Aquatics/ Race start at NIBCO Water and Ice Park.
Start Time: 8:30 am for 5K Run/Walk and 8:35 am pm for Sweater Stroll
Everyone gets a cute knit hat! Costumes and fun sweaters are encouraged! After the race, there will be refreshments and you can take photos and maybe head off to the pancake breakfast at the Fire Station!
It’s a great lift to see all the different sweaters and outfits for the season! Truly- if you are feeling a bit Bah Humbugish, this will cure what ails ya! This is a fundraiser for the Elkhart Education Foundation which provides supplies and scholarships for our local teachers!
PRICING
$20 includes Knit Cap, Timed Race entry for 5K or $15 for untimed entry for 1 Mile Stroll, costume awards, AG awards, post race treats.

Packet Pick up Onsite Registration
Friday, December 1 from 4-6pm
Packet pickup and Day before Registration will once again be held INSIDE 🙂 at Elkhart Health & Aquatics, 200 East Jackson, Elkhart, IN in the Community area. We will be set up in the meeting rooms there which is about a block away from where the race start is.
Saturday, December 2.
7:00 am – 8:15 am at NIBCO Water and Ice Park.
The race begins and ends at NIBCO Water and Ice park, 301 Nibco Pkwy, Elkhart, IN 46516 just about a block and a half away.
5K Awards
Top three MF Overall and first place in each of 15 age groups.
Awards for costumes will also be handed out.
The 1 Mile Stroll is non-competitive and is not timed.
COURSE
The course will begin and end at NIPCO Water and Ice Park.

parking
Plenty of free parking within a block or two of the area. Central park has a huge lot, and you just come across Waterfall drive to the park. Easy in and out. Innova Credit Union has a large lot. Note: NIBCO parkway, right in front of the Ice Park will be closed off for the athletes safety, since that is part of the route.
After the event – WINTERFEST
Consider going to breakfast at the Fire Station, just 2 blocks away for their annual fundraiser Breakfast with Santa. Pancakes and Sausage will be served!
This is the kickoff to a day of holiday activities including the breakfast, ice skating, tree lighting and parade. Check it out for some small town charm!
